Canada’s Waste Network connects Canadian researchers in the humanities and social sciences, as well as members of the public interested in waste issues. Waste – variously called garbage, debris and discards – is a complex phenomenon. Humanities and social science scholars study waste from a variety of perspectives and methodologies. Canada’s Waste Network brings together these exciting and diverse ways of understanding waste and its issues, providing an interactive resource to connect researchers and the public. We hope to better understand Canadian waste issues in order to resolve them.
